Workers' Compensation

Paul Odegaard, a North Dakota Native, graduated with honors from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1998. After a clerkship with the North Dakota Supreme Court, in 1999, he started with Crowley Fleck in Billings, where he handled civil litigation cases.

In 2001, Paul joined the firm Cozzens, Warren & Harris, where he focused primarily on representing plaintiffs in personal injury, product liability, and safe workplace litigation cases. In 2005, the firm became Cozzens, Harman, Warren, Harris & Odegaard, PLLP. In 2008, he "hung a shingle" and continued to focus on helping people with devastating effects of physical injuries or wrongful death - whether caused by workplace accident, defective products, or negligence of others.

In 2019, Paul formed Odegaard Miller Law, PLLC, with his friend and colleague, A.J. Miller. About a year and a half later, in the throes of a pandemic, Paul and A.J. merged their firm with their colleagues, Mark Kovacich, Ben Snipes and Ross Johnson, of Great Falls, to create Odegaard Kovacich Snipes, P.C. The firm has grown to about 30 people with offices in Billings, Great Falls and Helena, and focuses on personal injury, workers' compensation, asbestos, and environmental tort claims.
