Kent Sipe, is the current appointed Fergus County Attorney in an office of four attorneys and three staff members.  He was previously elected in 2006 as the Musselshell and Golden Valley County Attorney.  His work consists of prosecuting cases from homicide to goats at large with all crimes in between.  Additionally, he represents the County in civil proceedings including the numerous county boards, mediates employee disputes and lectures to three County Commissioners.  Kent is the (Area E) State Bar Trustee and has been a member of the Board of Trustees since September of 2011.  Kent is also the State Bar Board of Trustee Liaison to the State Bar Technology Committee.  He is currently a trainer for the State Bar Fastcase project and is also the project manager for the Fergus District Court evidence display technology upgrade to digital project.  He has also had a hand in developing the Statewide Court Video Conferencing System.
